Measurement Guide

Finding the right width

At Opticlass, we determine a frame’s size by its front width which is categorized as – narrow, medium, wide, and extra wide.

Determining your fit

Choose a width that corresponds with your own face width, e.g. pick a narrow frame if you have a narrow face (and so on).

Still not sure?

Medium is our most common width (and fits most faces), so it’s a good place to start. Keep in mind—you might fit into two widths. For instance, you could fit into both medium and wide width.

Frame measurement

Like most eyewear brands, measurements for Opticlass glasses can be found on the inside of the temple arm. There you’ll find lens width (the horizontal diameter of one lens), bridge (the width of the bridge section which is the part of the frame that rests on the nose), and temple length (the length of the entire temple arm, from the front of the frame to the tip). If you already have a pair that you like, you can compare it to those measurements.
